Plaque recognizing the executions in Almudena Cemetery

This plaque was placed by the Spanish government, acknowledging that between 1939 and 1944, there were around 3,000 executions against the walls standing in Almudena Cemetery. The last words of the inscription are, “For justice, for dignity, and for historical reparation.”
